East Asia, China, Song Dynasty, ca. 960 to 1279 CE; Yuan Dynasty, 1271 to 1368 CE. A lovely pair of petite pottery vessels: a Song made pottery jar with a pale celadon glaze, and a green Yuan era lidded jarlet. The ribbed jarlet has a ring foot, hemispherical body with a lip rim for the matching lid to rest flush on. The longquan celadon jar glazing is applied to the interior and from the rim to the lower midsection, leaving the white surface of the base exposed. Size (lidded jar): 3.75" Diameter x 3" H (9.5 cm x 7.6 cm)
