East Asia, China, Song to early Ming Dynasty, ca. 10th to 14th century CE. An attractive bronze water basin boasting a graceful form of a bowl-shaped body, a broad, flared rim, and 2 loop handles, all sitting upon a planar base. Incised horizontal striations encircle the body, while 2 recessed bands encircle the rim. Size: 11.5" Diameter x 5" H (29.2 cm x 12.7 cm)
