Description:

South Western China, Yunnan Province, Warring States Period, ca. 475 - 221 BCE. A stunning bracelet composed of bronze with high tin content and intricate malachite inlays. The perforated discs of malachite are inlayed using a still-preserved organic glue, and average between 1-2mm in diameter, and create a scale-like appearance. The jewelry of Dian Ruling class can be identified by this inlaid pattern. The craftsmanship of this bracelet is simply incredible with the sheer amount of fine detail put into each malachite disc, and the fine casting of the bronze, truly fit for a king!
