East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912 CE. A fine porcelain jar with a slight concave base, a bulbous body, a rounded shoulder, a petite rim, and a deep interior cavity. The exterior surfaces are densely adorned in applied cobalt blue floral and vine decorations, with a crosshatch and club-shaped border above and a repeating reed-form border beneath. The exterior of the vessel is coated in a clear glaze, thus ensuring the beauty of this lovely work of art! Size: 3.875" W x 4.5" H (9.8 cm x 11.4 cm).
