Description:

East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1911 CE. A cast bronze candleholder or oil lamp in the form of a standing figure donning a long robe with a weapon secured in the belt, facing forward with a serious countenance presenting nicely delineated facial features crowned by an elegant coiffure - and holding a vessel/candle holder in each hand, both of which are removeable.
