East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. 19th century or possibly earlier. A fine cast brass statue of a bodhisattva seated with hands pressed together upon a double lotus pedestal, presenting a tranquil visage with delicate details, and donning an elaborate headdress with ribbons/sashes cascading to the sides as well as behind. A lovely example with gorgeous green patina. The base is open below with a Weisbrod Asian Art sticker affixed. Size: 2.2" W x 3.7" H (5.6 cm x 9.4 cm)
