**First Time At Auction**

East Asia, China, Han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE to 220 CE. A delightful pair of pottery examples from the ancient Han Dynasty, a bowl and a zoomorphic ladle, both enveloped in lustrous glaze of mottled emerald, pine, and mint hues with a sparkling iridescence. First, the ladle presents a fascinating shape of a deep bowl with a teardrop-shaped rim that tapers to a diagonal handle with a head resembling that of a dragon. Alternatively, the bowl has a planar base and curved walls that rise to a flared rim. Size of largest (bowl): 8.3" W x 3" H (21.1 cm x 7.6 cm)
