China, Han Dynasty, ca. 205 BCE to 220 CE. A well-crafted terracotta model of a pig's pen featuring a high tower with roof overhang connecting to an open enclosure which holds the pig. Overall green glazed surface. Size: Sty stands 8"H, pig is 5-1/8" x 2-1/8".
