A seated pottery figure in the Chinesco style, with characteristically angular visage, legs spread with voluptuous hips, hands on hips positioned just beneath perky, nubbin breasts, painted in bright red/orange and white beaded necklace. She is further adorned with five bracelets on each arm and faces the world with a bold countenance, nicely incised eyes, long aquiline nose and a smile. Size: 5-7/8"L (14.92 cm) x 7-7/8"W (20 cm) x 9-1/8"H (23.2 cm). Provenance: Ex-private Houston, TX collection acquired at auction or local gallery between 1982 and 1994.
