Description:

Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chimu or Inca, ca. 1100 to 1532 CE. An attractive silvered bronze bowl in an ovoid form with a rounded base. It was hammered from one sheet of metal and has a tiny pronounced rim. The shape of the vessel is easy to hold in one hand and has a pleasing weight. This piece was probably used in ceremonies to hold offerings. Size: 5.75" L x 4.25" W x 1.95" H (14.6 cm x 10.8 cm x 5 cm)
