Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chimu / Inca culture, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A delightful pottery bridge vessel of spherical form featuring 2 circular, stippled panels, each with the figure of the deity Ai Apaec. The Moche god is depicted in a traditional anthropomorphic form as 2 snakes protrude from his helmet-like headdress. A pair of conical spouts rise from the top of the vessel connected via a ribbon-form handle, as all is supported by a flared base. Size: 6.3" L x 5.3" W x 8.6" H (16 cm x 13.5 cm x 21.8 cm)

Our shippers of choice are DHL for International shipments and UPS for domestic shipments, but we are able to ship via other carriers at the buyer's expense as deemed necessary or by request.

For shipments of oversize items, Artemis Gallery will assist the buyer in working with a third-party shipping provider. For shipments outside of the USA, customs and duties may apply upon entry into said country, and this fee, if any, is the buyer's responsibility.
