Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chimu, ca. 1100 to 1470 CE. A ceremonial copper blade called a tumi with a crescent-shaped blade and a thick handle surmounted by a stylized feline creature atop a discoid plinth. Thick layers of red and green patina cover the ritual instrument. Size: 1.1" L x 3.6" W x 4.625" H (2.8 cm x 9.1 cm x 11.7 cm)
