A 12 karat gold miniature stirrup vessel - the form comprised of two spherical termini (each comprised of two hemispheres) joined by an arched handle with a neck emerging from the center. A most unusual miniature goldwork from this very early ancient culture of the Americas - indicative of ancient wealth and created for an elite member of the Chavin culture!
