Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chancay culture, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A hand-built pottery female figure shown nude while standing with outstretched arms and delineated legs. Her elongated head features dark eyes, a petite mouth, and a tall, slender cap. Included is a modern embroidery doll of the same style as ancient Chancay dolls. This example is made using ancient textiles that have been formed into a doll in modern times.Size: 2" L x 4.4" W x 6.75" H (5.1 cm x 11.2 cm x 17.1 cm)
