Description:

Europe, late Bronze Age, ca. 1200 to 900 BCE. A fine bronze spear head featuring a petaloid head with a tapering central rip, all atop a short socket that has been pierced by 2 lateral peg-holes for attachment to a wooden shaft. Spearheads of this type are more commonly found in the territories of Northern Europe and Britain and were used throughout the Late Bronze Age. Size: 1" L x 1.6" W x 6.75" H (2.5 cm x 4.1 cm x 17.1 cm); 8" H (20.3 cm) on included custom stand.
