Description:

Central Asia, Bactria-Margiana, ca. 2nd millennium BCE. Created through the lost wax casting process, this is an elongated, tapering bronze javelin head with a sloping shoulder and a long, flat tang. This would have been attached to a pole, and thrown by hand from horseback. Comes with custom stand. Size: 1.45" W x 12.75" H (3.7 cm x 32.4 cm); height on stand: 13.85" (35.2 cm).
