Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 2nd century CE. Left coin: Caracalla 198 to 217 CE. Right coin: Elagabalus, 218 to 222 CE. Unable to determine the mint, since the coins are mounted and the reverses are partially hidden. The obverse of both coins features the profile face of the respective emperor; Caracalla is portrayed with his iconic beard. These are set into modern sterling silver cufflinks as a wearable and handsome accessory. Size of coin: .63" diameter (1.6 cm); cufflink: .83" Diameter (2.1 cm); quality of silver coin: 66.77% to 68.3%; silver cufflink: 92.3%; total weight of both: 15.4 grams

  • Condition: Both coins are in nice VF condition. Small tear to periphery of Caracalla. Unable to determine mint due to cuff. The cuff links have slight bending to the posts. In great condition and wearable.
