Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A gorgeous hand-blown glass vessel with a pale-green coloration. The near-opaque body exhibits a slight concave base with a smooth pontil, a spherical body with a windswept appearance, a tubular neck, and a rolled, flared rim. Portions of the interior are coated in pale-beige earthen deposits, and the exterior displays stunning areas of rainbow-hued iridescence in hues of orange, violet, blue, green, yellow, and red. A simply beautiful example! Size: 4.625" H (11.7 cm).
