Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A dazzling glass pitcher adorned in swirling hues of midnight blue, navy, and white, exhibiting a flat base, a spherical body, a slender, towering neck, a tiered shoulder, and a flared spout. A slender, bifurcated handle formed from trailing rises from the shoulder, folds to a small tab, and then ends at the neck. Note the light notes of rainbow iridescence that nicely complement this gorgeous example's elegant form! Size: 2.5" in diameter x 3.75" H (6.4 cm x 9.5 cm)
