Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A large free-blown glass bottle with translucent aquamarine hues. The vessels brief spout leads down to a bulbous body with tapered shoulders. It sits on a flattened bottom with nice earthen deposits scattered throughout its surface - giving it a slight iridescence. Size: 6.25" Diameter x 6.9" H (15.9 cm x 17.5 cm)

Provenance: private Vero Beach, Florida, USA collection, acquired 1970s; ex-United Kingdom collection
