Description:

North America, Hawaii, ca. 1st quarter of the 20th century CE. Gorgeous turned wooden bowl on short foot with slightly concave rim, large central knob for pounding. What truly sets this bowl apart is the color, pattern, and patina of the wood. It is exceedingly tactile, with an appearance that mimics tiger eye stone where the color dances in different patterns depending on how the bowl is angled. Stunning! Size: 9.25" W x 5.5" H (23.5 cm x 14 cm)
