Central Asia, India, Naga peoples, ca. early 20th century CE. A gorgeous glass bead necklace with nine strands comprised of green and white ovoid beads, with dozens of smaller, orange-hued seed beads as spacers. Each section of beadwork is separated with a thin ungulate bone bar, with five strands of orange beads projecting from each end. Tightly-woven twine serves as the main structural element, with one end fashioned into a loop and the other holding a drilled ungulate bone fastener. Wearable for any occasion, this stunning accessory will certainly accentuate any ensemble! Size: 25" L (63.5 cm).
