**First Time At Auction**

Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A stunning trio of glass bottles, all boasting elegant, piriform bodies and a light yet lustrous iridescence. Free-blown from yellow-green glass, the largest of the 3 presents fluted walls and a broad, flared spout. The midsize vessel showcases a hue of translucent blue-green and a classic shape of a rounded body, a tall, slender neck, and a flared and folded rim. Last, the most petite bottle displays a delicate form with a diagonally grooved body, a planar shoulder, a conical neck, and a broad rim that's connected to the sharp shoulder edge via a trailed handle. A lovely collection of vessels from ancient Rome! Size of largest: 1.6" Diameter x 3.1" H (4.1 cm x 7.9 cm)
