Description:

Ancient Central Asia, Bactrian, ca. 2400 to 1700 BCE. A lovely cast-copper stamp seal of a compartmentalized rectangular form with a four-petaled flower in the center. Each ovoid petal stretches between the central bulb and one exterior corner and creates a minimalist linear pattern when pressed into a layer of wax. The verso bears a petite ring handle for ease of use. Custom putty impression included. Size: 1.4" L x 1.3" W (3.6 cm x 3.3 cm); 2.3" H (5.8 cm) on included custom stand.
