Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922). Cold painted Brass, n.d. Signed. A group of 3 brass sculptures depicting Native Americans: one aiming a bow, another scouting, and one posing with a gun. All are painted with cold pigments and mounted on marble slabs. Signed "C. Kauba" on the rear edge of the bronze base. Size of standing figure: 5.5" L x 3.5" W x 5" H (14 cm x 8.9 cm x 12.7 cm)

  • Condition: Signed. Chips to marble base corners on all three, and crayon markings on the marble base of one. Paint is fading / worn off on some high pointed areas. Wire of bowstring is not attached on one side. Brass is attached via a bolt to the marble and needs to be tightened on 2 statues which are slightly loose. Overall great condition.
