United States, ca. 1920s to 1930s CE. An Art Deco cigarette case made from gilt-silver and 14K rose-gold. The lid is monogrammed "GW" and opens with a push clasp to reveal the brushed interior and swivel arm. The arm verso is stamped "22" and the hallmarks "14K STERLING," although the silver is slightly lower than sterling purity when tested. Size: 4.6" L x 3.25" W (11.7 cm x 8.3 cm); gold quality: 2% to 58.5%; silver quality: 42% to 89.9%; weight: 143.9 grams
