Latin America, Mexico, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A classy silk cravat and a leather belt with nickel-brass buckles and rivets. The cravat is sewn to form a bow and features three panels of red, gold, and white sewn together with yellow tassels at the ends. A silk strap is sewn to the back of the bow to easily tie and wear this dapper necktie. The belt is a handsome accessory specifically for securing a sword. The belt consists of two adjustable leather bands with buckles, fleur-de-lis shaped rivets, and a hook clasp. Size of belt: 33" L x 1" W (83.8 cm x 2.5 cm); bow: 22" L x 9" W (55.9 cm x 22.9 cm)
