Pre-Columbian, West Coast, Mexico, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Another group of fine Colima pottery items! Three smallish pottery seed jars, two in piriform shape, other very rounded. The two piriform shaped jars each have flared rims, one reserved, other burnished red, one with undecorated sides and the other with incised dots. 3-5/8" H for tallest. Rounded jar has a slight indention on base and small rim, interior of rim left reserved. 3-1/2" H. Provenance: Ex Kincade Collection acquired in the 1950's.
