Ancient Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Dong Son culture, ca. late 1st millennium BCE. A fine pair of bronze bracelets cast via the lost wax technique. Each bangle exhibits a circular body formed from a pair of segmented tubular bands, a conical ornament on one terminal, and an open gap for inserting a wrist. Both accessories are covered in thick layers of green and blue-green patina that create an attractive presentation. Size of largest: 2.8" W x 3.375" H (7.1 cm x 8.6 cm)
