Description:

Ancient Seas, ca. 2 million years ago. A sublime example of a fossilized Megalodon shark tooth with mottled hues of brown and grey across the enamel that formed due to fossilization. Though many of the original serrations have faded, their rigid texture can still be felt. Dozens of slender, vertical striations that have formed across the upper enamel as well as several stable hairline fissures to the root are two additional results of the fossilization process, and attractive patina has formed across the entire tooth. Size: 4.2" W x 4.25" H (10.7 cm x 10.8 cm); 4.5" H (11.4 cm) on included custom stand.
