Description:

Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A petite free-blown glass bottle, of a pale-green and translucent form, with a concave base and spherical body, a narrow tubular neck, and a rolled rim. A small conical spout protrudes from one side of the body, with a smooth tip and a slightly-angled form which allowed mothers to facilitate feeding times for their infants. Both silvery and rainbow iridescence coat the majority of exposed surfaces on this beautiful example of Roman glasswork! Size: 4.125" H (10.5 cm).
