Description:

Rome, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Brilliant pair of high karat gold earrings from ancient Rome. Would have been worn for adornment to display wealth as well as an awareness of fashion. Each weighs 1.5 grams and test higher than 22 karats. Size: 1/2"L (1.27 cm). Very minor wear. Else intact and near choice.
