Native American, American Midwest and Southeast, Mississippian, ca. 11th to 14th century CE. A wonderful piriform bottle, hand-built from earthenware and enveloped in a rich hue of gray. Sitting upon a curved base, the lovely vessel displays a globular body, a rounded shoulder, and an elongated neck that gently tapers to a circular rim. Size: 7" Diameter x 9.5" H (17.8 cm x 24.1 cm)
