Central Asia, Sumer, Mesopotamia, modern day Iraq, ca. 2100 BCE. A fine stone stamp amulet carved with the image of 2 quadrupeds, one with horns, surrounded by other indecipherable symbols. A drill hole in one corner allows this stamp to be suspended and worn as a pendant. Size of stamp: 0.9" L x 0.8" W (2.3 cm x 2 cm); of custom box: 3.2" L x 1" W x 2.6" H (8.1 cm x 2.5 cm x 6.6 cm)
