A rare terracotta example from a culture primarily known for their bronzeware! Size: 5.8" W x 4.6" H (14.7 cm x 11.7 cm)

Provenance: private Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA collection, via inheritance; Leota Furlong Agett Persian Pottery collection, acquired in Tehran, Iran in the early 1960s

  • Condition: Rounded base inhibits pitcher from standing independently. Professional repair to end of spout with break line visible, as well as chipping to rim and spout as shown. Light surface wear, commensurate with age. Otherwise, mostly intact with an excellent presentation and good root marks.
