Ancient Western/Central Asia, Elamite culture, ca. late 3rd to early 2nd millennium BCE. A cast-bronze dagger with an integral handle decorated with patterns. The petaloid blade features a shallow midrib, bifacial edges, and a pointed tip, and the entire weapon is enveloped in layers of naturally-occurring patina in hues of green, russet, and brown. Size: 9.75" L x 1.75" W (24.8 cm x 4.4 cm)
