Description:

Native American, Southwestern United States, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 900 to 1300 CE. A hand-built pottery jar of sizable, spherical form with a surprisingly stable base. Protruding from atop the rounded shoulder is a pair of semicircular nubs that are perforated for suspension. Adorning the light-orange exterior surfaces are several red-painted vertical stripes. Size: 7" Diameter x 4.875" H (17.8 cm x 12.4 cm)
