Central Africa, Angola, Zambia, and Democratic Republic of the Congo, Chokwe peoples, ca. early to mid 20th century CE. A collection of three iron tipped arrows in a leather quiver storage bag. Two have typical lanceolate blades and one is tipped with a crescent of fishtail blade for hunting specific quarry. They each have a slender wood shaft with feather fletchings. Size of quiver: 25" L x 3" W (63.5 cm x 7.6 cm)

Provenance: private San Francisco, California, USA collection, acquired 1970s to 2000s
