A ceramic vessel of the classic Acoma style, with a creamy white background and black stripes painstakingly painted with near perfect precision. The base is signed by the artist, D.H. Sanchez, probably for Dorothy H. Sanchez, an award winning potter active during this time. The thin-walled and delicately decorated pottery of the Acoma is among the most prized crafts from the southwest! Size: 6" Diameter x 5" H (15.2 cm x 12.7 cm)
