Large chalice with wide foot, bulbous midsection and straight-walled rim, decorated with two panels set within deep channels with combed design, these separated by two frogs in high relief, small frog eggs or tadpoles beneath. Jar must certainly represent the rites of spring and renewal of life in the jungle. 7-1/2" H.
