A striking silver ring made from a band of silver that broadens to a wide face, and is elaborately ornamented with punched decoration featuring rows of repeating triangles, the central sets comprised of two triangles on end (producing an hourglass shape), all containing pellets and covering the exterior of the piece. This design type is ubiquitous on Viking silver. The ends are elegantly joined via their coiled wires.
