Ancient Near East, Iran, Tepe Siaulk (also Sialk) culture, ca. 9th to late 8th century BCE. A hand-built pottery vessel with a flat base, a rotund body that tapers to form the flared spout, a high-arching handle with a central protrusion, and a beaked spout with an abstract zoomorphic head projecting upwards above the beginning of the spout mouth. Size: 10.8" L x 5.4" W x 7.1" H (27.4 cm x 13.7 cm x 18 cm)
