Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Mesoamerican culture likely Mixtec, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A collection of 9 carved shell beads, most in a triangular shape with iridescence from the nacre surface. Each has one or more drilled perforations to use as pendants, adornments sewn to clothing, or as burial goods. Size of largest: 1.2" L x 0.3" W (3 cm x 0.8 cm); 3.5" H (8.9 cm) on included custom stand.
