Description:

**Originally Listed At $400**

Northwestern Europe, England / Scandinavia, Viking to Medieval Period, ca. 8th to 13th century CE. A collection of 3 iron tools: an axe, pickaxe, and hoe head with socketed hafting holes for mounting on a wood shaft or handle, which could be replaced as needed- since these heads were built to last for many generations! One has a broad blade perfect for chopping wood or for battle, and the other 2 two have slender blades that suggest utilitarian tasks - farming and agriculture- breaking ground and stones, although these could certainly double as a weapon if needed! Size of large axe: 7.5" L x 5" W (19 cm x 12.7 cm)
