Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 8th to 10th century CE. A set of 4 interesting Viking artifacts. First are 2 hammer-shaped amulets, the smaller made from copper-silver alloy that represents Thor's mythical hammer Mjolnir. A decorative strap bears the image of a canine or a large feline, and the largest piece is a petite forged-iron axe head. Size of largest (axe head): 2.375" L x 0.5" W (6 cm x 1.3 cm)
