Native American, North America, ca. 5000 BCE to 1000 CE; Ancient Seas, North America, Eastern United States, South Carolina, Paleocene to end of Pliocene eras, ca. 66 to 2.6 million years ago. A set of 4 modern display cases filled with 84 hand-knapped stone points as well as 4 petite fossilized shark teeth. The stone points were perhaps used as arrowheads, spear points, awls, or other utilitarian forms, and each retains lovely natural colors. Size (largest point): 4.625" L x 1.3" W (11.7 cm x 3.3 cm); (each display case): 12.2" L x 8.2" W x 0.875" H (31 cm x 20.8 cm x 2.2 cm)
