Northwestern Europe, Viking or Anglo Saxon culture, ca. 7th to 10th CE. A collection of 4 tools and / or weapons from the Middle Ages of Europe. The largest blade shaped implement may have been an axe or cleaver. The slender blade may have been from a knife and the curved sickle blade may have been for agricultural use or by another skilled trade such as a farrier or blacksmith. The smallest item in this group has a ring attachment connected to the slender end and a perforation through the opposite end - possibly a chatelaine like tool that was worn on a chain. Size of largest: 9.5" L x 2.5" W (24.1 cm x 6.4 cm)
