Native American, Midwestern to Eastern United States, Eastern Woodland Period, ca. 5000 BCE to 1000 CE; Pacific Northwest Coast, Alaska, Inuit, Punuk stage, ca. 500 to 1000 CE. An ensemble of 67 hand-shaped stone and ivory tools from across ancient North America. Six pieces of ivory are carved into narrow awls or larger harpoon tips, and the remaining stone pieces are knapped spear points, arrowheads, and knife blades. Size of largest: 4.4" L x 1.6" W (11.2 cm x 4.1 cm); (display cases): 16.25" L x 12.25" W x 0.875" H (41.3 cm x 31.1 cm x 2.2 cm)
