North Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, Pre-Contact period, ca. 10th to 18th century CE. A collection of 6 coral tools or weapon heads, each carved into triangular points that could be handheld or hafted on to wood handles or shafts for greater leverage. Coral and shell scraping tools were often used for barkcloth and food preparation. Size of largest: 5.5" L x 1.25" W (14 cm x 3.2 cm)
