First, the Parthian leaded brass ring is of the Henig Xb type and displays a slender band and an oversized, ovoid face incised with the design of a mounted and helmeted warrior holding a lance. Next, the Roman bronze ring features an elliptic bezel containing a red glass intaglio of a standing figure surrounded by 4 quadrupeds. Third, the Byzantine brass ring exhibits a convex band and flattened, circular face embellished by a design of a cross with arms that trifurcate at the ends amongst 4 ancient runes. Alternatively, the Byzantine silver ring boasts a sizeable, protuberant bezel hand-crafted from navy and cobalt Venetian glass in a setting of repeated trefoils affixed to an attenuated band. Last, the Visigothic brass ring presents a thick band and raised, annular bezel, both intricately incised with abstract, striated motifs.
